Jarkko Suhonen

Dr. Jarkko Suhonen holds a PhD degree in computer science. He has been involved in creating, managing and evaluating the ViSCoS (http://cs.joensuu.fi/viscos) distance learning program and he is currently the leader of the IMPDET (http://www.impdet.org) online PhD study program. In his PhD thesis, he constructed and evaluated the FODEM method which was used to develop ViSCoS. He has co-authored and published over 40 academic papers in the fields of educational technology and Computer Science Education. His current research interests include applications of participatory and agile developments methods in educational technology.
